Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF)

Overview

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy is a non-invasive, drug-free, pain relief alternative, which can also encourage accelerated healing for injuries and ailments.  By aiding the regeneration and energy output of the body's cells, PEMF therapy can also help to improve your body's overall performance, sleep and mental focus.

How does PEMF therapy work?

Nothing happens in the bdoy without an electromagnetic exchange between cells.  By introducing a complementary electromagnetic field into the body you can re-establish healthy electromagnetic exchanges.

There are at least 1000 peer-reviewed papers supporting significant acceleration of repair in bones and other tissues

by electrical currents.  PEMF devices use magnetic fields to cover large areas of the body, but also allowing stimulation of specific areas without requiring surgical penetration of the skin.

PEMF devices in use in our clinic

NeoRhythm band

The Neorthythm band is a battery-powered device controlled by an app (IOS or Android)  which can be used on the head or other body part such as the knee.

NeoRhythm Pad

The NeoRhythm pad is versatile for use in the office, at home, suitable for placement under the pillow or on the chair (behind the back)

Celler8 Pad + Controller

The Celler8 is a full-length pad and detachable controller which can be used on its own for spot treatments
